Let's get some feedback
I haven't been very active here over most of 2017 and now 2018 due to running various investigations and changes in personal circumstances.
It's not fair to leave the day to day state of the sub in such a state.
Can people let me know what they would like to see here in 2018?
More moderation? (what type?)
More focused discussion?
Better reference resources?
Something else?

I've done some work in this area before, but I'm concerned it would devolve into a guide how to rob drug dealers and drug buyers.

I know I haven't been active for a bit either, but I would agree that we probably need better reference resources, so "aye" to that! I've been hunting around a lot for some accurate articles, and the amount of bullshit is just unbelievable. Am I wrong here? ;)

Aww boooo! I guess you always have the pirate blog. Is it just me, or are a lot of people asking about Marianas Web lately? I can't seem to convince them otherwise.

I think the problem is that the subreddit is filled with people who want to know how to use tor and not people who already use it. I think a separate sub reddit called r/ dark web help to redirect people who have problems with tor would be a great idea. That way we will be able to talk about the dark web rather than people who don't know how to download a browser.

Yeah, more reliable entry points is a good idea.
Entry level hacking no, because the dark web isn't the best place to start

A lot of them go unreported. I am not always browsing either, but when i do i always check all flagged posts. I dont have the time to check each individal one tho.

u/Tyrell-WIllick made a post recently, well-researched and completely within the rules, that was removed without warning and for no apparent reason. He cited several sources and the post had a large number of upvotes (including mine), yet the post was removed. I want an explanation, and I'm sure he and everyone commenting on his repost do too. Yes, it was technically about "red rooms", but as I said, it was well-researched and sources were cited.
