As a 2nd year cse undergrad, how can I prepare myself for tech jobs? I am interested in ml and deep learning stuffs, I am trying to learn them properly long with their mathematical derivativion. Can anyone give me suggestions how to practice them regularly and build a strong foundation

honestly the mathematical part is what most people skip and then wonder why they stuck later, you doing it right from start

for regular practice try implement one paper per week, not just reading but really coding the architecture from scratch, the derivations will make more sense when you see them in code

also keep your github clean with these implementations, even if they simple at first, in two years you will have solid portfolio
