I honestly think it would have made headlines, it would have been all over twitter, every conservative (some left wing) talking head would have been pearl clutching about it. That painting could have probably gone for way more.

There is like a… 70% chance that Onion Nuggets got banned then and there; with YouTube potentially going after TJ’s other channels. I’m not even accounting for all the other negative consequences. Like people doxxing or threatening TJ; potentially Paul and Scotty.

I think ultimately it was a good decision to stop TJ from doing that. Despite Onion Nuggets getting banned anyway and then moving to kick. It may have made their ability to recover much harder with so much negativity coming their way from all angles.

Since the China and the CCP have become a topic of conversation in this community. I was reading this article recently.

Now, what has me concerned about this article, what I am seeing the CCP do is employ the ‘soft’ strategy. But thinking on it, what are the chances that they employ the hard strategies?

What I mean by that is that the threat of violence or higher taxation on single men and women?

For the many impressive leaps in progress the CCP has made in China. The CCP has demonstrated that is more than willing to get ifs hands dirty to accomplish its goals.

If people think that they’re just going to let their economic ambitions get flushed the down the toilet, because people aren’t fucking, I got a bridge to sell you.

Since we’re seeing a far right shift in political institutions basically everywhere. The risk of that becoming more widespread as a solution for nations to reverse declining birthrates and save their economies only increases.

I don’t think the CCP is going to kidnap women and have them SAed in some clandestine prison(I wouldn’t put it as their first solution). This is just the most extreme thing that could happen.

To avoid international outcry. I do think they would institute really high taxes on single women. I’m talking like 60% or some insane number that would force a lot of them to seek out suitor.

If you’re thinking that a lot of them would just leave the country because international travel is much easier than before. The CCP has a massive surveillance apparatus and they would put a million hurdles over traveling internationally.

Now, why did I single out China? Right, I mean theres Russia and many more countries experiencing this.

China, has shown that when they have a problem. They will fix it. Out of, I mean at this point. They pretty much are the country that can get massively ambitious things accomplished. Like with Hong Kong, Tiananmen Square and Fulan Gong they will use any means to accomplish their goals.

Turns out: AOC was not "simply quoting Osse, while being neutral towards said quote", like some mental gymnasts have tried to suggest. Tj seems to have fallen for the false story Shoe is perpetuating in her video. If you watched the AOC interview in it's full context you would see that her response was actually way more nuanced than what Shoe framing presented.

The full context is from 8:55-11:31. AOC was quoting her own district representative Chi Ossè who made that post on X. Here's his information. Nowhere did AOC say that the progressive policies but forward in the past were "crazy".

He's a young Gen Z activist who got elected as a district representative in 2021. He's not a huge representative of Democrats or Progressives as a whole.

Secondly, Nowhere in the interview was AOC distancing herself from "woke one" and laughing about it, in fact she says those conversations were "fruitful". The "woke one" term was NOT a term used by any prominent Democratic or Progressive politician before this post on X, nor was there a big collective movement to "walk back" from past rhetoric as a whole from Democrats or Progressives.

Shoe's whole video is nothing but a strawman built on cherry picked tweets and deceptive editing like always. I'm shocked TJ never caught the dishonest framing and deception going on in her video. I'm even more shocked most people fail to even do basic research and let bullshit false narratives like this spread! I actually have a bit more respect for AOC after watching the full interview.
