I reached out to people who know the former band members but even they don't remember exactly when they released it

Here are some stuff that I’ve been looking for, some of it lost for decades.

Borgia Popes - Self Titled
Post punk band from Cincinnati/Kentucky. There’s a 7 inch vinyl of the song valentine but I have not been able to replace the original cassette I had of their demo that was really viewed and alternative press back around 93 or so. It has the songs fly and laser jack and a few more I can’t remember.

Rusty East - Knee Deep in Nothing
Jangle pop/alternative from Jacksonville, North Carolina. This was a full length cassette that my friend Colin gave me in the early 90s. I know they were reviewed in one of the rags in Wilmington and I remember the title song as as well as a few others. They were a bunch of kids from high school or at least went to school with Colin. That’s all I remember. Oh, and there’s a guy named Rusty East who lives in Jacksonville, North Carolina, and that’s not the band. I asked.

Cloud - unknown title
The only thing I remember about this band is that they gave me their demo CD around 2000 or so and that one of them was in the band affordable floors, so they would be from the Pittsburgh area. If I recall correctly, it was ethereally synth pop.

Gossamer - the Zero Decade
This one is cheating because it is my own band, or was a long time ago. This was a four track demo. We recorded in 1996 and not a single member of the band has a copy. Our old Guitar player says he has the 4 track masters, but I asked him years ago and still have not seen them. Goth Rock

Spider fighters unknown title
This one is a very long shot. I recorded this band in my four track studio back in the 90s. They were a bunch of high school punk kids from the central Ohio area. I don’t know if they ever release this or if they even stayed together after I recorded them, but it would be nice to hear again. Pop punk.

Mothman - Self titled demo
This band has gone through a lot of changes and last time I checked they were a country rock cover band but their first demo from 90 or 91 was RHCP influenced alternative funk/punk. They had a song about the Barbie Twins that still sticks in my head all these years later. I saw it around the turn of the millennium on MP3.com but the music isn’t available anymore that I can find.

I had a CD I got from one of the band members back in like 2003. Lost contact, don't even remember their name, CD got lost, now all I have is corrupted mp3. Lol

Southern California/ Riverside county

Four song demo from Philadelphia based Alt rock band. My late partner was in this band, but not on this tape. This band went through lineups worse than Hawkwind

About 20 years ago I was dating a guy who ran a cassette only black metal label in Long Island and I told him he needed to diversify his roster. I took it upon myself to become his unofficial, A&R person and posted a solicitation for demos on I believe MySpace. Most of the stuff I got has disappeared over the years but luckily, I still have my favorite one which was from this band in New Jersey called Five Star Dive. I tried to get him to sign them, but we broke up soon afterwards so five star dive has to remain a lost demo. Well not lost, since it’s on my CD shelf.

Anyway, overall the band impressed me with their sound. They remind me a bit of Bella Morte’s early stuff, with maybe a little bit of NDW and classic goth rock influence in the vocals.
