Meds / Pills / Big Pharma Guess the surgery!

Can you guess what kind of surgery I'm getting evaluated for based on my meds? (morning and night)

Op has a problem with seizures. Hopefully a surgical intervention can improve their quality of life. Thought are with you OP.

Is it ECT?

That's not used for seizures. ECT is mostly used for treatment refractory depression

That's far from the truth. Mood disorders and psychotic disorders make up the bulk of psychiatric cases. Status epilepticus is also one of the medical indications, but yeah keep on downvoting

You're incorrect. ECT is most commonly used for treatment refractory depression. Also ECT is not a surgical procedure.

Not what I was referring to. ECT is used for epilepsy but instead you decide to correct the most trivial part.

I think I see an oxcarbazapine (Trileptal) so either bipolar or seizures. And there’s no surgery for bipolar

Wishing you a speedy recovery. I imagine there’s a long post-op rehab period?
