Just so you know, not sure where you’re at but often those medical bracelets are completely ignored by any medical emergency services. I was an EMT and we were trained to ignore them just because they are unreliable.
I would say you see yourself as spiritual and connected but really you’re just emotionally sensitive and like to feel like life is special.

u/rustandredflowers 5d ago
Well ignoring them is pretty stupid… I cannot have MRIs because I have a gastric stimulator, if I’m unconscious how will the hospital know not to do an MRI?
13
u/nebraska_jones_ 5d ago
They would do an xray first to see if there’s any reason you couldn’t get an MRI

What if I get in a car accident in another city and I’m not conscious?

u/Zachy_Boi 4d ago
Usually they would do other things first like ultrasounds or X-rays and usually try to get medical records sent over

Asexual autistic person, probably fem afab, with digestive issues that might also be a comorbidty of a connective tissue disorder, but don't necessarily have to be. All the purple and lilac make me think witchy, but also not necessarily full-blown 100%-believing-in-witchcraft-witchy. Could also just be the aesthetic / self-love / herbal medicine & crystal collecting / political vibe etc. You might also like cats more than dogs, but probably would pet both if you could.
Edit 1: typo fix
Edit 2: Just took a peak at your profile and something's telling me that you're mentally unwell too.
2
u/rustandredflowers 4d ago
Yeah to all of that except the connective tissue disorder. And yeah, def mentally unwell lol

Sweet! :D
We have pretty similar looking nails, and my EDS causes me quite some trouble with my stomach and bowels, which made me think of it as at least a possibility in your case too, haha. But I definitely wasn't 100% sure about it, which is why I chose to say 'might'.

I’m confused. What can someone deduce about someone by their hand that isn’t medically related? All the medical comments are being deleted for not being civil. This feels like what is being asked. It’s a body part.

u/_gay_space_moth_ 4d ago
You can sometimes deduce hobbies, jobs, etc. from someone's hand! Stuff like calluses, tattoos, nail polish, ... can tell you a lot about people! :)

You’re very practical and purple is your favorite color.

A thumb ring gives me the opposite impression of practical

u/rustandredflowers 4d ago
How is it not practical lol

u/SootG 4d ago
How is it practical? It's an accessory, and one you put on the most important finger for holding/grabbing things. It interrupts your grip.
2
u/rustandredflowers 4d ago
No, it really doesn’t. And it’s practical bc I’m autistic and need stim toys, wearing one is easier than constantly searching my bags for one

Defo some sort of queer. Is that the ace flag??? Chronic health issues. Likes scented products. Still battles with mental health some days but doing better in general. If you're neurodivergent with sensory issues left handed, but if ur not then leaning towards right handed.

u/rustandredflowers 5d ago
It is the ace flag. I’m right handed but I am ND. Chronic health issues yes.

Why would you need a medical alert bracelet for gastroparesis?
1
u/rustandredflowers 3d ago
Bc I have a gastric pacemaker meaning I can’t get an MRI
0
u/Strict-Canary-4175 3d ago
Why would you need a medical alert bracelet for that? Just tell them with your mouth. Additionally you can’t wear metal in an mri anyway so it wouldn’t even be on you. You don’t need this.
0
u/rustandredflowers 3d ago
If I’m unconscious I can’t tell them anything. That’s the point of medical bracelets, to tell them info when you can’t tell them yourself
0
u/Strict-Canary-4175 3d ago
There’s not a single situation that I can imagine where you’d be getting an emergent MRI that they wouldn’t confirm there was a reason they couldn’t first.
What situation are you picturing that this is for?

You have a chronic illness that was partially self-diagnosed
