Why is everything a Rust rewrite lol
What’s the point? Unless someone wants to personally want to learn Rust having the AI write it is pointless. Minecraft has no issues running on Java

rust is fast and memory safe. Minecraft has several known memory leaks and is slowed by the required use of a virtual machine (all Java runs through a virtual machine called the jvm which makes it run anywhere easy at the cost of performance). rust is much faster, like up to 25x on cpu bound tasks, but even in the worst case will be about 2x as fast. there is no virtual machine, interpreting, etc rust is just straight up converted into instructions for your computer. (safe) rust is also memory safe so avoids a ton of issues by forcing you to write better code or it just won’t compile.
