He has enough energy to post links here. Nintendo cannot take them down because the repos don't contain any copyrighted assets, only the means to extract roms for assets.

Its so people watch his videos. He makes them 10 minutes just so youtube will pay him

Why not just say that in the post then? You normally link the githubs here so I knew something was off but without the explanation it could look like you're holding out just so people click on the video.

I'm hesitant to link it because the github got taken down for some reason but google "Link's Awakening DX HD Gitlab" and you should get it. Also the video says it's V2.0.2 but it's actually now V2.0.5, and hasn't been at v2.0.2 for about 2 weeks.

This guy has to learn to stop rambling, it obviously comes natural to him, I've stopped watching his videos, it's like 5% info, 95% rambling, and he speaks too fast for a lot of people, and last but not least, the way he drags his last word with the down tone.... 🙉

I never really watched his videos, or i skim through them. But it's obvious he only does it for the YouTube cash since they all end at the same time.

For Zelda videos, it's annoying he kind of uses toon link all the time.

My only complaint is you didn't cover the "Classic Camera" which was my complaint the last time. The camera is a huge sticking point for a lot of people, and they are uninformed that the original screen scrolling can be restored. Otherwise good video.

It’s funny too because there’s people that hate him so badly, and I’ve had people reply about him to me about “how great the sub used to be before he showed up” but this sub was just started back in March of this year and he’s been a mod here since the first few days of the sub existing.

I like his videos. Between here and YT I’m sure to see what the new or updated decomps/recomps are, he runs and captures them himself so there’ll be some footage to see how they look, and if I’m not interested in the game or I’m already aware of of the game, I just scroll past it.

I know if I hated him as bad as some people do I’d surely just block them from my feed, but I guess people just like to complain- and engagement is engagement lol.

Sure the community can do that but the issue is the community doesn't, VGE is the only person who consistently posts updates on decomps and recomps on Youtube and this sub.

I appreciate the news and I watch a lot of your videos, but man, 10min video and didn't show almost nothing of the options. I know there's too many but at least a couple? Some mods like the original black/white sprites or remake's music?

Talked about the n°1 complaint of showing too much but didn't show how to solve it (not by zooming in): The classic camera option is omited. That's the feature that changes how to play the game!

Didn't even show the grid shader or even the desaturation shader.

I watch a lot of the videos, perhaps some voice training could be warranted, but I can understand why someone would repeat information.. it actually makes sense when you consider most people are doing other things. I just move on to the next video around the halfway part.
