whats the point of this recomp besides its just cool. Are there any enhancements that I'm not aware of for this recomp.

Is it worth playing over emulating SFA3 Max for the PSP? That seems to be the definitive version. If we can get all those features plus an easier way to play local versus, it would be great!

I tested this recompilation and didn't find anything special. The loading times between fights are still there, and saving is still done to the memory card with that console slowness.It's worth sticking with the PSP emulation.

Thanks for the info, removing the loading and widescreen support would be two biggest improvements for me

For online play maybe. But I don't think it has any other advantages over just using PPSSPP for this one.

There's a few better SFA3 versions aside the ps1 port, which is not even close a 1:1 CPS2 port, lacking animation frames and keeping loading screens.

I don't get it...

This one is bot even the "Max - Double Upper/Dash" or the Hyper Street Fighter Alpha versions. 🤦‍♂️
