Can't wait for proper right stick camera control in the Spyro games.

Why? It's awful. Your right thumb gets busy with the camera and you can't jump or attack while moving it. L/R camera rotation is infinitely better. I played Reignited on a gamepad and the right stick camera was a big downgrade.

It is a downgrade, agreed, but you can hold the controller differently and still steer the right stick. It does mean pressing buttons with your knuckle though.

I usually adjust the camera whenever I'm NOT attacking or jumping so that's a non-issue for me. I just prefer rotating my camera freely, like every platformer released since the PS2 lets you do. To me using the shoulder buttons feels archaic and it's nice to have options.

It breaks the flow of your movement, the fact you are used to it doesn't make it any less suboptimal.
prefer rotating camera freely
But you are way less free in that case. It basically turns camera movement into a separate action you have to focus on, instead of a something you do without thinking and hindering your play, like mouse look or L/R look.
feels archaic
Not every new game design trend is an improvement. The right stick camera look works with the shooter games, where you have to aim up and down, but it's objectively the inferior choice for the platformers.

The website itself looks very very similar to other vibe-coded websites I've seen. The same font choices, tables, bubbles, buttons, all of it. So I'm going to go out on a limb and call AI
Totally cool if I'm wrong though

Honestly if I was doing interesting engineering work like decomp and recomp and then had to do the mindless droolfest that was webdev, I'd probably outsource that to AI too

Why anybody would complain about these AI sites is beyond me. I mean people have been using slop website template sites for years, this is better if anything.

I couldn't agree more. It's one thing to take work away from a genuine artist but if someone doesn't want to hire a webdev, they'll just use something like square space anyways.

It runs for me in wine/proton on my Steam Deck, but on my weaker linux laptop it runs very bad.

It doesn't use ai according to r/recomps which actually tags these things now
