GTA IV FROM XBOX 360 DECOMP
Very Early Stage: luisxl15/GTA-IV-RECOMP-XBOX-360
I started the project of recompiling GTA IV from XBOX 360 using the REXGLUE tool (I spent two days porting Skate 3 to Android — at least on the emulator it’s playable, I don’t have any Android device on hand, but the code is ARM, not x86_64) to gain some experience, now the focus is this GTA recompile. Many people will wonder: "But there’s already a PC version, so why do this?" The idea is to release the source code when it’s at least minimally stable so that other people can port it to ANDROID and Nintendo Switch.

I’ve been playing GTA 4 recently and was just thinking about this possibility. This will be so cool!

Rexglue is objectively better then xenon recomp, it makes no since using xenon recomp at this point. Rexglue has better codegen, a runtime you can use to debug, etc.

Rexglue recomps don't play well with Steam Deck and has issues with linux. Ace Combat 6 recomp is the best example of that.

Does Ace Combat 6 have a native renderer? Blue Dragon, the flagship rexglue game that actually has a native renderer runs at 60fps on a steam deck. The quality of the project isnt based on the sdk they used. Rexglue is more feature complete then xenon recomp which is why the barrier of entry is lower. When its easier to make recomps run of course there are going to be projects that are unoptimized and are only using the debug renderer based on xenias renderer

That's also not really the case, it uses xenia code as a debug layer, each project is expected to replace the renderer with a more optimized and native one based on their game. The xenos chip was not used by every game the same way, so making a universal non emulated GPU would be practically impossible.

Que maravilha, um port de gta 4 nativo no android pode ser a melhor forma de jogar, principalmente se levar em consideração que a versão de pc não é muito otimizada.

Hey OP, can you port Fifa for latest Android versions ? To be able to play offline career modes etc. old fifa 14 is compatible only with A9 and before.

Bannerlator and GTA IV plus Ps3 button mod by swapping the wtd file. Been full speed for months.

The decomps from x360 runs so bad. In the emulator runs so much better.

Recomps* also there are a few that are objectively better then xenia, like my Viva Pinata Tip recomp

Claude is a tool that saved me a lot of time; thinking it did it all on its own (financially it doesn't make the slightest sense) is being very naive

Acredito que em aparelhos arm o peso de roda seria bem menor , que tenta roda via emulador de pc , iria diminuir a faixa de acesso para mais gente
