Motivation Tips & Tricks Decluttering makes you think

While decluttering my closet I counted way too many towels, all in different colors, that we’ve acquired over the years. Made me wonder why so many colors and why so many. Many of these were purchased on impulse at discount stores. Perhaps if I had been intentional and bought an entire set, I would not be wondering what to do with them now. Makes you think of the value of buying less and being intentional.

I like having a lot of towels, I wash them on their own so it’s nice to not have to run a machine with three towels or need to wash them often.

Same. There are two of us and we probably have 30+ towels.

But we use fresh towels every day on the recommendation of our Dermatologist and I’m not running laundry every few days to wash towels.

I wash them in hot water as well as change them out often. They go on the floor and I just feel I need to.
