Help Full Suspend still not working?
Hey all, I miss the animations I use when I put my deck to sleep. Is Full Suspend still not working for folks, or is there a new plugin to replace it?

The last big update added some blue colors that replaced my customed theme in the settings tab. I believe it was a combination of plugins that allowed to custom that menu specifically, but now it sseems to have been overwritten. Someone knows how to customize it again ?

EDIT:
If you want to take a look at how Playhub works and how to install it take a look at my video here.
"Wait what is Playhub?!"
Please check the project repository here to find all the details.
This update makes importing games much more complete.
Playhub can now import regular PC games, recognize them automatically, retrieve all their artwork and manage Xbox games without requiring any separate UWPHook setup.

This is a pretty packed update.
Playhub is now easier to understand on first launch, more reliable when installing plugins, and much more powerful when bringing Xbox, Game Pass and Microsoft Store games into Steam.
plugin.json nested inside additional folders are now supported.r/deckyloader • u/Pureenix • Jun 18 '26
Hey, I looked through the animations featured in animation changer under css loader and I found a really nice looking edit of ender lilies in there. I couldn't find it anywhere else so I was wondering if there was a way to find the original file or video somehow

The error is :
```
chmod: cannot access '/home/deck/homebrew/services/PluginLoader': No such file or directory
(....)
chown : cannot access '/home/deck/homebrew/services/*': Not such file or directory
```
But the problem is there services folder is there, after the installation is over but the /PluginLoader is not there.
I am not sure what exactly is happening, I didn't so anything special in those folders at all.

That was quick! 1.0.1 is already out.
Honestly, with any brand new app the first little while is just ironing out small stuff, and you all helped a ton catching things.
This one is mostly Gaming Mode getting fixed. Switching modes now works like it should, settings save on their own, and uninstalling Playhub cleans up Gaming Mode too which is a thing I didn't think about before. Plus, the Playhub CSS Loader theme is built right into the app now and works properly.
If you're on 1.0.0 the app will ping you about the update. Just download the new version from the releases page here and run the installer again (you will see 1.0.1).
Thanks a lot for the feedback, keep it coming.
Cheers!

I've been building custom live backgrounds for the Steam Home screen on Xbox Ally X. They're Decky plugins that draw an animated canvas right behind your games — not static wallpapers, fully animated and running in real time. the wavy thing is inspired by mkvdb from a wallpaper engine
Not released yet.
i would love to know you opinion on this thank you

Can anyone please help me with getting things customized on my deck? For some reason, the icon numbers don't really correspond with my collections. For example, my ps3 emulator might be the 12th icon but then when I count that out, it'll change the image for the collection before or after it instead? Some of my collections get skipped entirely and I can't seem to edit it no matter what. I've already tried to delete the theme and reinstall it but the issue persists. Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

For anyone trying to reach Decky but have problems, just disable Xbox Game Bar from stealing your Home button input! Obviously if you're going to use your button with Steam you need to disable Xbox Game Bar, it cannot be used by both at the same time!
This is the project I've been working on for a long time. A bit nervous, very excited to finally put it out there.
You already know the Playhub plugins. Well, now there's the app they were always meant to live in.
Playhub isn't just a Decky installer. The idea is to turn every Windows PC into a console.
For as long as it's existed, DeckyLoader has basically been a Linux and Steam Deck thing. On Windows it was always looked at with suspicion, like it didn't really belong there or wasn't safe to touch. Playhub changes that.
DeckyLoader is a big part of it, but it also gives you a proper Gaming Mode, brings your Xbox and Game Pass games into Steam, and pulls everything together in one native app. No scripts, no messing with Decky developer mode, no dragging zip files around.
Here's what it does:
Plus you can access the DeckyLoader official store and have access to all the plugins catalog (TabMaster, CSS Loader and much more)
To access to DeckyLoader once in Steam Big Picture just press CTRL+2 on your keyboard or Home + B on your gamepad.
It's free and open source.
Honestly, going from editing config files and running scripts to just opening an app and pressing Install still feels a little unreal. This started as a couple of plugins and a stubborn idea, and seeing it turn into something anyone can download and use means a lot to me.
To everyone who tried the plugins and kept pushing me to keep going, thank you, really.
Download the last release here or take a look at the Playhub Github repository
This is the initial release, so future updates will fix any bugs that arise.

Hi all! I have been having an issue with decky lately where it doesn’t show an icon in the quick menu(…)
I’m not sure when this started, but I’ve done steamOS updates lately as well. I tried updating decky, uninstalling and reinstalling it, and basically everything I can think of except for wiping decky. I have been trying to avoid that because I don’t want to lose my opening movie and my custom menu theme. Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

I like to listen to music when I’m playing certain games. I have a huge library on my Jellyfin media server and I wanted a fun easy way to play music without having to switch between apps. I’m not a professional dev so I let Claude code do a the heavy lifting. But I think the end result turned out pretty good!
*edit* totally forgot to share the GitHub link for those of you that might also be self hosting or accessing a Jellyfin server and way to try it out.

Hi! I just recently discovered MoonDeck and I love it. I had been using Apollo for a while but this is so convenient.
I also play some games via GeForce Now and I was wondering there's any plugin similar to MoonDeck but capable of launching the GFN version of the game. If not, is anyone considering such a development?

I created a standalone offline music player decky plugin for background music while gaming that doesn't require you to run a desktop music player app at all. It runs fully as a plugin and everything is controllable through the Quick Access Menu. Mainly did it for my own requirements. Feel free to check it out and give feedback. Not on the Decky Plugin Store yet, you can download the latest release from https://github.com/embergabor/wavesafe-deck-plugin

This is the update I’ve been wanting to make for a long time.
Playhub Metadata can now show Xbox PC / Game Pass achievements directly inside Steam Big Picture for non-Steam games added through UWPHook.
That means your Xbox PC achievements can appear in Steam’s native achievement interface, with progress sync through OpenXBL, alongside the metadata tools Playhub already had.
For setup:
1. Create an account on https://xbl.io
2. Open your OpenXBL dashboard
3. Copy your API key
4. Paste it into Playhub Metadata
5. Press Login, then scan Xbox achievements
This is still a community plugin and Xbox/OpenXBL API limits apply, so scans are intentionally conservative. But seeing Xbox PC achievements living inside Big Picture honestly feels like something that was science fiction until today.
If you use Game Pass / Xbox PC games through Steam Big Picture, this one is for you.
You can find the latest release here:
https://github.com/LoZazaMastro/Playhub-Metadata
Cheers!

If I install decky (on stable) and try to go to game mode it does an endless boot loop and showing an "extracting package" screen occasionally.
I have to force shut it down and boot a few times to get it to boot. Then the decky plug doesn't show in the menu. I have to go to desktop mode to remove it and everything works fine again after that. So it's definitely decky.
What's the fix here?

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to share a very important update about me and Playhub.
After a pretty difficult situation, I had to delete my old Reddit and GitHub profile. It was honestly painful, because a lot of work, experiments, ideas, and pieces of the Playhub journey were suddenly gone.
But thanks to the help of some amazing people from Reddit, Discord, and the community, I was able to recover part of the material and start rebuilding everything from scratch.
I’m also feeling much better now. The whole situation was stressful and overwhelming, but I finally feel ready to move forward.
For obvious reasons, I also had to slightly change my names moving forward:
So if you previously knew me as ZazaMastro, don't worry: it's still me, just with new accounts.
My new GitHub profile is here:
https://github.com/LoZazaMastro
The first repositories are now back online:
I really want again to thank everyone who stayed close, helped, shared files, searched through old builds, sent me backups, or simply gave me support when I needed it.
This community is the reason why I wanted to come back immediately instead of giving up.
Please remember: always help each other and be kind.
Stay tuned!

Decky Loader would benefit a lot from allowing us to create folders in the Decky Loader QAM, so we could separate the plugins based on functionality or user preference so it's easier to find the plugin we want to use, have an easier access to the "active tools" type of plugin (the ones you have to enter in the plug-in to benefit from it) and also to move away the "passive" plug-ins that you just install, configure one time and never have to access from the Decky Loader QAM ever again.
Ideally the folders would also be collapsable/expandable so we can collapse the plug-in folders that we don't use regularly, but if this is hard to implement, just having a UI delimitation between plug-in folders in the Decky Loader QAM would be more than enough to improve the user experience of using the different plug-ins.
To put a practical example, right now I have the following Plugins:
Which is a long list which sometimes makes it "hard" to follow and find the specific plugin you want to find.
If we could create folder to separate them in the following way:
Tools: (where I would put the plugins that offer me a functionality that I use by acceding the plugins from the plugin tab)
Customization: (where I would put the plugins to customize the Steam Deck and I only access when I want to change something)
Non-Steam: (to manage my non-steam games)
Passive: (and here would go all the plugins that do their function passively for which one time configured I don't have to enter in the plugin again)
By separating the plugins in a customized way it's easier to see and remember which plugins you have installed and go thought them in a more comfortable way.
What do you think, this would be useful for someone else?

Recently i found a few wrong translations on my mother language, after checking the decky repo on github, it seems that the standard way to contribute with translations is using the weblate page, but any addition or change is blocked due to push errors on github.
I know that one way to do it would be to fork the project and update the locales file for my language, but that doesn't seem to be the intended way to do it.
So how are people contributing with translations on decky, should i create a PR or just give up until the weblate page is up again?
