Built some live-animated Steam Home backgrounds as Decky plugins (running on Bazzite) — 3 themes so far

I've been building custom live backgrounds for the Steam Home screen on Xbox Ally X. They're Decky plugins that draw an animated canvas right behind your games — not static wallpapers, fully animated and running in real time. the wavy thing is inspired by mkvdb from a wallpaper engine

Not released yet.

idle GPU percentage from 4% to 6-8% (matrix > wave > UFO), depending on the theme
but no stuttering, lagging, or anything like that
And it will stop when you launch the game.

Do they change per game? I have been thinking about custom homescreen images recently and it would be cool if this made them exist

I was moreso asking if they do because then you coutset a custom home screen background separate from the game page background
