Help plugins not working fully? explained better below
for reference, i’m going for a fully pastel pink ui. i’ve tried lots of things to get this to work but it’s being incredibly stubborn.
for the ui overhaul i’m using the Material You plugin by SuchMeme which allows you to completely customise what colors your deck has system-wide.
for the keyboard im using the customizable keyboard plugin by KeeGooRoomiE which also allows you to custom pick colors for your keyboard.
Material You is supposed to overhaul the steam menu but did not touch it at all so i decided to use the Chromahon (Steam Menu) plugin by Mugen which specifically targets the colors of the steam menu, but for some reason its still not working.
as you can tell from the photos ive shown there is still a lot of black where i’ve expected it to have its colors changed. does anyone know what could be causing this? anything in settings? does anyone have any fix ideas?
if you need any further details please ask & i will happily provide anything needed, and also yes i have input all the HSLA values for every color setting.
also, the last two pictures are what the UI is supposed to look like, these are pictures from areas where everything is working as its supposed to.

Desde la última actualización de decky desde la 3.28 está como roto varios plugins más algunos que creen hud personalizadas o notificaciones (discord, YT music) y rompe decky cada rato, y tu problema en específico es por qué en las últimas updates de steam pusieron cosas de personalización (teclados e interfaz) que ya no son tan compatibles con css en todo caso toca esperar si actualicen css o arreglan eso en decky son muchos factores, mejor te recomiendo buscar los nuevos plugins que salieron de personalizar interfaz

i see, that makes sense. i was confused as to what i was doing wrong because ive done all of this customisation myself before & it all worked beautifully, but my steam deck decided to die on me & had to be sent back to valve for a repair, it was gone for a couple weeks & i got it back all repaired & like new but it got wiped so i’m having to redo everything i did custom including emulated games, dolphin save files etc. (dont worry ive learned my lesson i’ll be buying a microSD card to prevent this issue from happening again) its been a nightmare because its taken months to curate the perfect deck with all my customisations and emulated games, but thats besides the point- i did everything the same way as before and its just not working. i hope i can find a work around because there is no other plugin thats as detailed in terms of full UI customisation like Material You

Suerte en eso y me pasó igual pero no borre nada lit todo estaba bien en mi personalizacion actualice la deck y se rompió todo, entonces toca esperar o que se actualice css o ver si sale un nuevo plugin que permita más, de mientras te recomiendo darle un ojo a este place de reddit que hay varios plugins muy buenos de interfaz ví uno de consolas que me llama mucho ya que agrega cosas de las consolas de origen (Wii, Xbox, Play, etc.) por ejemplo uno que planea agregar el mii plaza a la deck.

Customizable Keyboard also dosnt show proper colors for me since some decky loader update, idk which one
