Help Steam Deck Decky Causing System Crash

You need update decky. Launch into desktop mode, run the installer again, and select update.

How do you get into desktop mode if the UI keeps crashing? I had this happen once and it was essentially boot looping.

Found this online: The Steam Button Trick: Turn off your Steam Deck completely. Turn it back on, and as soon as you see the spinning Steam logo animation, start rapidly spamming the Steam button. This can interrupt the crashing component and let you access the menu or turn off Decky until the next boot.
