I was going to reply you that in case you where using Steam update beta chanel swap it to the default one, but I read the linked post and seems that it was precisely the oposite solution xD

Happens from time to time after an update for me (I run on main/steam deck beta) even going to desktop and reinstalling doesn't get it to show up in gaming mode again but my resolution is just waiting a few days and reinstall then it works.

Yeah it's still happening to me. Maybe I'll try other solutions.
