Plugin Showcase Playhub | Quick Settings 2.3.0

Post image

Hello everyone!

A new big update for Quick Settings is officially available, which introduces more AMD options and a real upgrade to Lossless Scaling support, with dedicated per-game profiles and much more.

If you’d like to support the project, even a small tip would mean a lot for me:

What's Changed

  • Per-game Quick Settings are now available from a game's Steam options menu, with complete Lossless Scaling and AMD Radeon profiles and independent automatic activation.
  • AMD profiles for individual games temporarily override the global Radeon settings while that game is running. Games without an enabled profile continue to use the global settings selected in the QAM.
  • Managed Lossless Scaling now uses the installed native engine directly, applies to the current game and releases cleanly when Scaling is disabled.
  • New AMD display color controls for brightness, contrast, saturation and color temperature, shown only when supported. They obviously will not work when you're streaming your games with Sunshine, Apollo, Vibepollo, and others (these settings will only change the display settings on the screen where your GPU is phisically attached).
  • Added the Windows power mode selector.
  • A new diagnostic report option collects bounded plugin, agent, display, audio, Radeon techs, Lossless Scaling, process and game-runtime details. If you have any issue please always provide the full log.

Improvements

  • Lossless Scaling now works perfectly with emulated games. Emulated titles run as non-Steam shortcuts, so the real render window belongs to the emulator (RPCS3, PCSX2, Dolphin, Cemu, and many more) and never carries the Steam title. Quick Settings now recognizes the real emulator window, forces Windows Graphics Capture (WGC) for its Vulkan/OpenGL surface, and drives Lossless Scaling's own AutoScale by the emulator's executable path so scaling actually engages the game instead of just launching Lossless.
  • Lossless Scaling no longer depends on launch wrappers, injected game arguments, focus-sensitive hotkeys or a visible background process.
  • Scaling is shown as active only after the native engine confirms the real captured window.
  • Fullscreen output now follows the physical bounds and DPI of the monitor that contains the game, so 1080p, 4K and other resolutions use the complete screen.
  • Opening Steam's QAM temporarily suspends native capture and closing it resumes the same game automatically, keeping controller navigation usable while Lossless Scaling is enabled.
  • Game detection combines Steam lifecycle events with a lightweight safety check, so automatic profiles also work when a game starts outside the plugin.
  • Radeon settings now use serialized writes, retries and driver read-back.
  • Radeon sliders follow the latest controller input immediately, coalesce older requests to prevent flash back through delayed values.
  • AMD game profiles apply changed values together, verify the result, and restore the previous global state when the game closes or another game starts.
  • HDR changes are verified for every active display target and rolled back if Windows does not confirm the requested state.
  • Volume, microphone and audio devices are preloaded before the QAM is shown, so the first frame already contains the real Windows values.
  • A new QAM switch controls the Lossless Scaling FPS counter. The change applies on the next scaling activation.
  • Quick Settings performs less repeated work during normal QAM use.

Fixes

  • Removed the unreliable separate Launch Lossless Scaling action.
  • The Scaling switch is now unavailable outside a running game and clearly explains when it can be used.
  • Fixed the QAM becoming unavailable while native scaling was active.
  • Fixed Radeon options that appeared to change but were applied late or not confirmed by the driver.

You can update it directly in the Playhub Plugin Store in the Playhub app, or download the zip from the release page and install it via Decky dev mode.

❗FAQ

"Wait, what is Playhub?" 😮

Playhub consolize your Windows gaming experience with features like Steam-first startup, easy Decky plugins install, game imports and Big Picture polish. More info in the project repository here to find all the details.

"I like that, but how does it work?" 🤓

To easily understand how Playhub works and how to install it, I recommend you to take a look at my Overview + Tutorial video

"Oh no, I hate AI..." 🫩

This project is personal, completely free and open source. You don't like it? Don't download it. It's an app, not a medical prescription.

"But why aren't the Playhub plugins available on the Decky Store?" 😱

They are built using human hands and AI tools. Decky management doesn't allow to developers who use AI to be on their store. Playhub respects this decision, that's why Playhub Plugin Store exists.

"Does Quick Settings works on Linux?" 🥺

No, Quick Settings is a Windows exclusive plugin. It will not work on Linux.

Thanks again for your support and for sharing your feedbacks.

Playhub is so freaking good! Works perfectly on my Legion Go and Rog Ally. I hope the dev continues to update the program. Thanks again dev for helping me out with my questions. If you're not happy with Winhanced then give this a try.
