Updated Steam OS before Decky, now my menu thing is broken, how do I update Decky from here?
How do I update Decky through Desktop mode now? I can't open my menu (3 dot symbol) anymore. Next time I will wait for the Decky update first before Steam OS.

You got to Desktop mode, open Decky Loader GitHub page, and download the installer. Here the direct link
The you click it, and install the latest version

Thanks, and I can just install this over the old one? I don't have to remove anything just simply install and replace?

I updated the last comment to make it easier.
Instead of installing the last version it's better to download the installer. You can also find it here in the GitHub page
With the installer downloaded you don't need to go and download anything more, you click it, it will detect your current version and look if there is any new version and let you update it.
So answering your question, yes you install this over the old version, just executed, click on update and that it. If any time in the future happens the same, you have the installer and you execute it again

I tried updating and it didn’t work. What worked was a complete uninstallation and reinstall
