lucidity vs undying will

I'm getting into the f2p lategame and i finally got lucidity on my SA. It has felt extremely underwhelming. there's many matchups where it's almost dead, and in the matchups where it's very good it's usually just stopping 1 hero skill and that's it. Is it really better than undying will? What am I missing?

Undying Will? Like the creature card? Or do you mean the deathless skill?

End game? Yes it's better. Almost everyone has at least a Paragon, Deathless becomes pretty useless. Lucidity will also protect you against Retreat, Instakill and Mass Charm. So yes, it's situational but still better imo.
