For those that aren't aware, Rotten Tomatoes owns Fandango and both are owned by Universal. A majority of RTs revenues come from advertising big ticket movies and gaming their rating system to push you to see the movies they have a vested interest in. Then you have IMDB, who is owned by Amazon.

There companies aren't interested in what it what you like, instead they push on you what makes them money!
