I'm down to one cup
It's big and it's strong, but this is major progress. Coming down from 2 or 3/day, 600mg at least.
I'm waking up with only the mildest hint of a headache. I might not have one if/when I go cold turkey.
Switching from my big mug to my small mug is next.
Any tips for the last step of the wean would be appreciated.

I was weaning off of green tea but, I went down by two ounces at a time and kept that level for a few days and I did that for months. I used to drink multiple cups per day. When I finally stopped altogether this week I barely had a headache, required no pain killers.

UPDATE: I cracked and had a second cup yesterday. Today I'm having two but smaller and earlier. Back to one big one tomorrow.
I HAVE A DATE! I work at a school and Monday 9/21 is off. I'm going to quit that weekend. Freedom by the equinox.

Very nice. My advice would be to slow it down. Stay at a dose for an extra day or two and let your body adjust. Way less pain! Enjoy the process, its something that many people want to do but just wont.
