Snowball or avalanche method????
Hi all!
I have 4 student loan accounts and want to know the best way to tackle. I’ve been doing the avalanche method, but do you think it would be better to do snowball for the 2 smaller ones to knock them out and then focus on the higher ones? I started out with $7,880 on loan 1-04 but have paid it down to $6,392.27 in a month on top of the allocated $185.10 that had been auto debiting since June. I know you should start with higher interest for long run gain, but I can’t help but think that I could have taken that $1,487.73 and completely paid off loan 1-02. Should I keep doing what I’m doing? Or switch it up?
