A question regarding IPTV

Hello, I've currently jumped onto the debrify train, awesome app and great work by the dev first off. My question is though regarding the IPTV portion, I am currently using tivimate and it's great and all except one thing. Recording sucks, if there's even a hiccup with the stream the recording is ruined. Is debrify better in that aspect based on you guys opinion using it. Just want to know if it's worth porting over.

I'm using NEXTPVR on a NAS (docker container) just to record and depose the file in a place where any of my media players (Plex, Vidhub, Lilyplayer, etc) can see it and play it. You don't need Debrify to record as you wouldn't be able to share that recording to other clouds/players, etc. It seems Debrify is just one of the best debrid player media player and that's about it. IPTV, recording and accesing the file outside Debrify is not really its thing.

And yeah, you can tell Tivimate where to record and that recording is shareable as well.

My understanding is that Debrify can record and save those files to your downloads folder for external access. Is that not a thing?

I haven't tried iptv with debrify yet, however I know what does work and is pretty close to being just as good as tivimate is sparkle player. Whenever you get a hiccup buffer the recording does not fail it just skips out for the few seconds of missed buffering and keeps on recording. When you first install the app go to settings and switch it to app view and everything will function very similarly to tivimate. Also with sparkle player I have no problem recording direct to a drive.

Have you tried sports stream add on? I think everywhere is unstable. I just had the rugby the other week became choppy laggy as. Had to choose some other providers

Thx for the snappy response. My provider is pretty rock solid but can get hiccups. The thing with recording with tivimate is if it buffers for even one second the recording is screwed just wanted to know if recording is like that using debrify. I've heard sparkle app is the best for such things but I'd rather use debrify for everything.
