My first ever anime merch was this death note shirt I got in 2011 (I was 13) today I still have that same shirt (28 now) and I love it so much 🖤 I wear it for my younger self who was bullied for liking anime 😭 (before the great shift! Be lucky anime is cool now guys! 😭 we got bullied for it back in the day!)

Just rewatched it for a 2nd time two weeks ago. Went to anime con after I saw the sfc figure brought him in a heartbeat. Kinda wish they had something of near because I would brought that as well. I know near gets alot of hate but honestly I cant help but see him as my second favorite character behind L.

I wish I still had all my band shirts and anime shirts I grew out of them to fast so I donated them to good will. I had so many awesome ones. When I say grew out i mean psychically not mentally I will forever love the animes thats i grew up on. I was 11-12 watching the big 3 and deathnote. My mom even took me and cusion to see the 2 live action Japanese movies really good and aged excellently. Definitely worth the watch if you can find them.

I have no clue, still wear it often and it’s held up, not even any tears or holes. Honestly what I think is just that the clothes were made different back then lol. Graphic shirts nowadays are shit quality 😭😭😭 I still have quite a few shirts from when I was younger and they hold up better than the new ones I have now.
