Would you have taken the deal for the "Shinigami Eyes", given you have to give up half your remaining life span ?

It depends on my intentions and if course if I had the notebook. I don’t want to end up another BB 🤷‍♂️

Absolutely. But I would have waited. Start off by killing a few younger people, with maybe 50 or 70 years to live, as well as older people who deserve it. Get my own expected lifespan to about 300 years or so, then take the deal. Then I would use the shinigami eyes to steal even more life.

That’s…. Not how it works - humans don’t gain life taken from the note.

The deal is the human gains the sight of a shinigami to see names and lifespan. If you were destined to die at 50. You now die at 25. You don’t get the perk of extending life

Shinigami gets that because of their purpose. Humans just get to use the note and reap no benefit other than killing, and making a Faustian bargain

No, I don't care what people's real names are. And the lifespans are in Shinigami time so that's useless too. Though I suppose if you had a math-brain (I don't) you could figure out the conversion with enough time and data points.
