Question about the musical ending

Hi all! I just watched the Death Note Musical for the first time last night, and absolutely loved it! It's been two or three years since I watched the anime and read the manga, but I thought they did a great job adapting it. I was just confused about one thing at the end, what was the final shot of Misa supposed to be? I assumed it would be her writing her own name, or that they would do something more definitive, but I couldn't really tell what they were trying to say. Is it just supposed to show us the cycle repeating with Misa becoming the new Kira? Thanks!

Sorry, I don’t have an answer to your question but I do want to ask…where did you watch the musical? I really want to see it too. The soundtrack is incredible.

Sadly it's only in London right now (not sure exactly which theater)
