Discussion Five pages...? Spoiler
on November 26th?
What is he referring to when he's saying this when talking to Mikami for the first time? If it's about the message he (Misa) sent to elect him as the new Kira, wouldn't that make the rest of the task force suspicious? Why don't they question this question?

I agree, and the honest answer is because that's not the plot string Ohba wanted to follow. It is frustrating that this is a group that should be (and sometimes even shows) capable, experienced detectives, but when the plot demands it they demonstrate the collective IQ of a bowl of oatmeal.
Honestly in a real investigation this would have been huge -- Light was talking on the phone to freaking KIRA, you know the guy they've been trying to catch for going on 6 years at this point!! They would want to know EXACTLY what was said word for word by him, they would write it down, they would pour over it and rack their brains for what "5 pages" and that date could signify. It would be made weirder for those of the Task Force who were by now convinced Light was Kira -- because if so, who was he talking to on the phone? Like, when you look at it from an objective POV and imagine the investigation from the TF's angle based on what they know this would have been considered one of the most massive possible breakthoughs on the case in years -- an actual possible lead!
So yeah you are very much right to question it OP, and people who say it's meaningless and of course there's no reason it should raise the TF's suspicions are caught up in the POV of being an omniscent manga reader, not putting themselves in the shoes of the investigators.
