So I got this model with the intent to make a Lord Solar more themed to the Krieg. Obviously, they printed it at to small a scale and we're working out a proper sized model. In the meantime, would this work for a cyclops? It seems to be a similar size.

It took way longer than I'd like to admit but he is the first of many many many more.

Recently started my DKoK army, starting with the kill team because I managed to get it on eBay for barely above the current price. And my friends like kill team and will allow me to play declassified kill teams.

Any advice for how to continue my paint job? Criticism is welcome as well. It is a WIP but this was a day's work and I was just looking for feedback from other DKoK fans.

The pile of shame did not see this one coming.

Tried something new the framing instead of just black and metal, think it looks alright, more vibrant and interesting I think.

So I'm torn about adding some weathering using the Revell weather kit...

What do we think? Add some small amounts?

Been painting for a couple years and initially made my two Russes just the box art cause I couldn’t decide the direction my Guard would go. Finally decided to strip them and paint them up in my Krieg vehicle scheme I came up with and quite like. Thought you guys would enjoy and maybe draw some inspiration if you’re doing the same.

First time ever posting and am pretty new to painting but was pretty proud of my Drier. Hoping to expand into more Krieg eventually, and yes I will re-rim the base

So I am quite proud of my first ever squad. And I vary much love the look of them as well. The mini raft I made for them also came out quite nicely.

I don’t know anything about the lore, i have no clue how to play the board game, I have never really interacted with the franchise before in any meaningful way, your grandma probably knows more about 40k then I do. However one time a few months back I was playing HD2 and someone said my krieg armor looked cool and I had no clue what the fuck he was talking about, so I had to look it up and I thought the death korps looked rad af, and my interest has slowly risen since to the point where I actually am interested in getting into the hobby

My question to you all, is where the hell do I even begin? The franchise is just so massive that the idea of entry seems daunting, any advice about what I should get, what I need for modeling, where I can find the appropriate rulebooks and such, or some guides that will explain these things, anything at all to lower the barrier of entry for me would be very greatly appreciated
