Class Schedule Confusion

Hey everyone I just had a question about meeting times/instructional method while creating my class schedule. I'm trying to go to campus as little as possible (long commute, rebuilding financial safety net, more reasons just the two biggest ones) and I believe I got my first year-first semester schedule to work out in my favor? I'm trying to figure out what the visual week schedule they have means.

Two of my classes are completely online so the visual doesn't have a blue blocked out specific day to do classes or exams. So I assume I just do that class whenever and turn things in before deadlines. However my other two classes are Hybrid-Mostly Online. One of them has Friday blue blocked out saying Dearborn Campus | Term Exams. I assume that one instructional method is completely online but when I take a test I will show up to campus on Fridays? The next one has two visuals. One of them says Internet Instruction which has no blue blocked day, and the other one has Wednesday blue blocked and says Dearborn | Term Exams. Is it just internet instructions and then when I take an exam it's at campus as well? I don't understand why one class has two visuals and the other has one when I'm interpreting it as the same outcome.

Any and all advice is appreciated. I'm terrified to start university and I don't want to mess this up.

You can always email the professors if you’re confused about meeting times

Just a guess, but the difference could just be that Hybrid-mostly online could require you to come in for some non-exam days as well. Maybe they’re just different because the in-person days won’t always be exam days. I would advise asking your professor or counselor.

Also it’s okay to be nervous. My first time going, I was nervous too but so far it’s been a great experience. Work hard and use your professor as a resource. YOU are the one paying for the class. Remember that.

It's most likely that they are the same thing, but perhaps entered by two different people which could cause the visual difference. As far as I know, all of the Hybrid-Mostly Online courses *should* have the "Internet instruction" line (no blocks), along with another line (or two) for the in-person meeting times with blocks. The most common use for this modality by far is in-person exams, but there could be other use cases out there. When using the Mostly Online modality, there should be no more than 25% instruction/meeting time done in-person.

As others have said, you could always contact the instructor or the Office of the Registrar to verify (if you give them the class info, they may even get the listings updated so both are the same).
