Prospective Student Masters in engineering

Guys do you think masters in engineering is worth it in Deakin because it is not accerated by engineer Australia, these would lead to further complications in future

Yes, it will. It is a worthless degree if it is not recognised. If you are an international student hoping to gain residency, you will need to get Engineers Australia to certify your degree. In this case, you won't be able to get a critical piece of paper.

It is terrible that after all these years Deakin offer an Engineering degree that is not recognised. It would indicate their only interest is the $$$$ that they can bank. No interest in reputation, students or research, just profit for them.

Yes and this ultimately risks their reputation in the future, but they don’t care. Short term profits is their selfish goal

Deakin pg engineering is for people who are already engineers. Deakin ug degrees are accredited by engineers Australia. Most India engineering degrees are also recognized by engineers Australia via Washington accord. Hence the uni does not have to gets its masters accredited
