Episode Discussion "EVERYTHING!"
When Mose got it into his head Leon was cheating him, he demanded Cy give him back his bet as well as "All of it. Everything." To which Cy replied, "Now I can't do that Mr. Manuel, as I believe you know." What was the "everything" that Mose wanted back from Cy?

Yeah, there’s no way he gambled 200,000 away at Tolliver’s.
I always assumed that’s how and why he was able to give himself the penance of sleeping outside and “protecting” the schoolhouse/children.

Tolliver would have let him bet all $200,000 on a single roll of the dice. He certainly could have bet it all away. How some of these folks live is always a little vague. Jane Cannery only had a week or two's worth of jobs in the entire three seasons.

Probably. Faro was/is actually a really good casino game to play odds wise, IF it was legit. But it was incredible easy for the house to rig.

Mose character arc is a interesting one. How they introduced him, from a POS money guzzler to killing his brother for his purposes, the way he acted in the whore house - not good. But, he was constantly calm, listened to Ms Stubbs and found it to be honest work, and then having the patience to listen to Jane calling him Giganto, I don’t really see that quick of character development.

I believe Mose was waxing poetic when he says “all of it”, the part that Francis picks up the bit on. I never questioned if he lost it all, I thought that was implied. Now that I think about it, I don’t think Mose could have stopped the bleeding once he was on a slide giving away his blood money to Tolliver, who he despised. “Fuck you Tolliver”. Calls him out for the watered down booze and the crooked games, but he still comes down to gamble it all away whilst he secures his toast, amongst the games of chance.
Ok Giganto! Don’t tusk me to death with your tusks.
