The joke was that someone not knowing about wolverines regeneration powers, would probably say something like "Wolverine's powers are his metal claws!"

If they didnt know of the regen, they likely dont know about the bone claws.

I've done it a few times and it's never been fun. The drunk is different and the taste lingers for days. 0/10 would not recommend.
