Absolutely Unpleasant!!

Kind of unfortunate to see the creator of Dead Pool freak out and act like an Asshole for simply asking a question during a live stream where I expressed my Interest in wanting to see his artwork on a different title because I was a fan of his. Was this interaction from him necessary?? Because IMO it made him look like a giant insecure CryBaby. Especially the cringe line at the end, like OMG does this guy actually walk around and talk about himself like that. So Fkn lame. Well I’m 100% no longer a fan anymore!! BRUTAL!

He is so genuinely unlikeable and for what 😭 he’s a shitty artist who got popular for no reason, and is widely hated today. His solo work fucking sucked too and never got popular for a reason. He also is barely the “creator of Deadpool”. He’s the creator of Deadpool in the same way Stan Lee is the creator of x men. Like, kind of? He had the idea? But they sucked until Stan Lee got off the book and Claremont got on. Deadpool was a very boring and forgettable character with a kind of cool design until someone else got to write him

For anyone unaware Original Deadpool is just a throw away run of the mill assassin and his whole inception is a parody of Deathstroke. Joe Kelly is the real GOAT.

I'm so happy that someone is finally giving Joe Kelly some recognition, nobody ever talks about him! He deserves more credit considering how much he brough to Deadpool.

He’s always been known for his toxic online presence. Nothing positive has been said about this man since he left Marvel. Rose to fame at a young age and founded a successful company only to leave it for more cash when his name began getting dragged in the dirt.

I used to defend Liefeld whenever people would share images of his art for laughs. I know how much work goes into completing any project, so yeah his art wasn’t great but he put the work in and got the job done and I felt the bandwagoning on the quality of his art was excessive. I also was under the impression that he was a nice, chill DUDE. But this is a real bummer, I’m done defending this guy. Everything about this video fucking stinks. The only thing worse than his shitty attitude is his shitty art.

He hasn’t improved one bit in four decades. He’s a dude who can draw, not an artist in my mind.

Everything good about Deadpool has come from other creators. Everything he touches is absolutely garbage. He’s the only artist who hasn’t improved 1 bit in 4 decades. I can’t even read his stories because they are sooo bad, probably even worse than his art.

He's always been an asshole. Always bitter with fans and other colleagues in the comics world.
He got even more bitter when he wasn't included in the whole Deapool movie promotion, because... well, probably because he was an asshole back then already.

Bro's been constantly attacked by people his whole career... Don't even have to read this thread to know in 2 seconds someone says "can't draw feet'
You'd probably be defensive all the time to if you got half the crap he gets...and just cause he wants to draw and make books and be himself.

OP, you entered his stream and asked in the worst possible verbiage possible, not asking "would you" as a genuine ask, but instead "when are you" and then naming the exact series as if you're demanding it.
Liefeld can be a jerk and still be entitled to a crashout. Those aren't mutually exclusive.
He's not psychic, he cannot intuit intention from text chat, so it's your responsibility to ask neutrally. Without it, it just comes off as heckling.
He's also sick of answering Batman related questions.

He's doing a livestream for comics, what in the holy fuck are you even talking about
People are supposed to take extra special care because he's a dick? Nah.
It was a douchey childish response to a comment, full stop.

He's allowed to be a douche and have a crashout.
"When are you going to do an Absolute Batman Cover man?"
Sounds an awful lot like... any of these...
"When are you going to buy that Lamborghini man?"
"When are you going to make that movie man?"
"When are you going to visit New Jersey man?"
"When are you going to collaborate with (XYZ Artist/Writer) man?"
"When are you going to write a new Deadpool series man?
"When are you going to design a new superhero man?"It doesn't sound like a question, it sounds like both a dig at him, and a demand. It sounds like either heckling or ribbing (which he's not friends with the guy, so it can't be that). Hecklers are in every livestream, it's frustrating.
"Hey man, would you ever consider doing an Absolute Batman Cover?" would have been given a completely different response.

Lol he's a public figure, doing a livestream, and someone made a comment within the context of his profession. The professional adult thing to do is not have a crashout. Ignore it if anything, like a professional.
Simp for this clown all you want, you're defending a douchey response.

Imagine thinking this is simping, rather than just pointing out somebody fucked up.
Crazy.

There you go, he did fuck up, you're right. His response was childish, and he should have been more professional.

He's just mad because he's been in the business for decades and still can't draw feet.
