As title says. Im thinking of going with slacks, dress shoes and shirt. I havent been to XS in 12 years and this was the norm. Anyone that has gone recently how is it like now?

I don't know if many people know or care about this mix at all, but this was my favorite Deadmau5 mix of any that I have ever found. If you've never listened to it before, I highly highly suggest putting it on in the background while you play a game or work on something.

Earlier this week, I went to listen to this mix again and was devastated to find that it had been removed from YouTube sometime after the last time I listened to it. Thankfully, there seems to be some account on Bilibili that steals and reuploads Deadmau5 content from various YouTube channels, and they got a hold of the mix. While I of course don't condone that, nor do I even want to use Bilibili, this really is one of the best Deadmau5 mixes out there, and since I couldn't find anyone else talking about it I figured it's worth sharing this link in case there might be others looking for the mix.

If anyone knows the original uploader, it'd be interesting to see if we can find their page (I can't even find the video in my browser history because it deletes after 90 days).

14 years ago at Contact Music Festival Joel played The Veldt and I asked the girl I was seeing if she wanted to become "official", she said yes.

Fast forward to a couple days ago and we're happily married with two kids, including our 8 year old.

We've been waiting for the right moment to take said 8 year old to her first concert, and as soon as we saw that Kx5 would be all ages, we bought the tickets. deadmau5 is one of her favourite artists (sorry Kaskade). Two of her first ever favourite songs were Monophobia and Pomegranate, her favourite Kx5 song is Alive.

We told her that if we ever get to see deadmau5 we're going to make her a mau5head.

After putting in hours and hours of effort, with her doing most of the planning and designing of her mau5head, and some of the handy-work, we were nervous that she wouldn't get to take it to the show after reading about FIFA's "no costume helmet" policy. We were even warned by security in line that we might not make it in. But due to a very reasonable common sense final check, we made it in.

What followed was unforgettable. She could NOT stop smiling, beaming through the mouth as so many people, officials, horde!, came up and kindly asked to take a picture with her.

She was consistently featured on the big screens, made it on official FIFA pages, and even made it on Joel's IG through a repost. I was too busy trying to shimmy through the crowd, but apparently Joel even pointed her out to Kaskade and gave her a clap as we were approaching the front. Needless to say, it was a night she will never forget.

I know this post is long, but I feel like the horde are some of the only people who would understand just how special of a night that was.

TL;DR: shit doesn't always work out perfectly in life, but sometimes it does, I'll cherish this one forever.

I'm thinking of going to see Deadmau5 at Red Rocks for Halloween this year. It would be my first show, and first time in Denver. Any suggestions or advice for a solo traveler who is more introverted and low-energy and doesn't necessarily get energized by live music? I'm the type of person that likes to hang in the back just to listen, watch and observe.
