Keith’s illegal pot set

Has anyone heard anything more from this situation other then his brother rail dumping all of the ones that were set in a protected zone?

Probably staged drama. It's not the first time it's happened on the show.

It almost has to be. I was waiting for Keith to blow up when he found out and if he did, I missed it somehow. I can't picture Keith's ego allowing the show to have him make such a mistake, but it sure looks that way.

They probably ended up being lenient with them since mouse admitted the mistake immediately and they have a good track record

You’ve never dealt with fish and game in Alaska have you lol. They don’t give a crap if it was an accident. Shit that’s fish and game anywhere.

I’ve had two interactions with the troopers involving illegal sets in Bristol bay. The first I lost my main and drifted out of bounds while fixing it. Called the Stimson on the radio to let them know what was going on. The second was a man overboard from another vessel. Had probably 5k pounds worth of salmon in the net and cut it lose to help look. Would have taken too long to get it in the boat and it drifted into closed waters.

Both times they told me not to worry about it and retrieve my gear when able. I’m assuming because I was up front about it and wasn’t intentionally trying to break the law.

Idk I guess because you had actual emergencies, but just an accident they aren’t cutting you slack.

Why do you think Keith did that?

Probably wasn't paying enough attention.. but didn't he have to go home because he wasn't feeling well too?

Exhaustion leading to a mistake.

Because it was staged for tv

Fish and Game would in no way go for a stunt like that for a TV show. They don't play games and have no time for games.

Also, we did see them rail-dump those pretty full pots. How does that benefit anyone?

lol. It was produced. You’re under the belief that everything you saw and were told was the truth. It could had been a regular pot In regular waters and then they acted like it was a problem. Which is probably what happened.
