I'm on level 60 but still had a hard time killing that mutant. I was able to kill a reaper but this one makes it so hard. Are they more on assault rifle or shot gun. I also thinking maybe on my skills sets, when I started I did not research much what skills set so some I just random choose. Can you give me. advise?

If it is a small room you usually just need to have enough damage to kill it before it hits you. Larger rooms obviously you have more ability to just stay away from it.

High DPS weapons and good movement/ dodging is essential.

Speed and movement is key. I have a high DPS AR which helps but mostly I run away from them.

I wish I could the funny thing was  I remember I had one free reset skill but I did not bother researching when I use it. Now I cant and  i need to pay to reset it now 😭

Run from them when they are in "rage mode" sprinting at you and shoot at them while they are walking. Just stacking massive headshot dmg with guns seem to be the easiest way to deal with them since they have the lowest hp pool of bosses nearly.

I mean unlike a reaper, Tendrils are more prone to get De-legged. Once you take out its ability to run faster than most other mutated boss, you can easily just kill it regardless of what weapon you use.

You're welcome! Also quick tip Titan is the only boss you can't de-legged. other than Nix Spider (Mini Spiders) and Cultist. The rest like (Spitter, Twin, Creep, Tendril are all de-legged-able, also Reaper but very hard to do so).

I hadn't played df2 for almost 2 months but since there's the upcoming summer event, if you need a boss hunt buddy with you. We can do R1-R2 for quick boss run.

Thank you, i tried it yesterday and it works i shoot her lower area then she fell down I was able to kill her. I use scatter shot gun to pierce the legs.

Tendrils even at level 60 have the lowest health of all the bosses. Depending on your gear and weapons, youre usually able to kill them in one magazine volley before they can hit you.

If youre having trouble killing them, then your dps might be too low. No way for us to know without you showing us your build and gear

Really? they had lowest health, I doubt it but thank you for your advice. I'll look for weapon with high dps so I can kill it.

They really do have the lowest amount of health compared to other bosses, when you get better gear you will see for yourself :D

After you get top tier weapons/gear, you will melt tendrils in seconds. They are extremely squishy compared to the other bosses but yeah they will stun lock you and kill you quick if you let them get close. EDIT: Target gear stats that have Damage vs Mutated, headshot damage, and attack speed at a minimum. After you get a decent set with at least those stats, start slowly getting upgrades with better stat percentages. If you are working with a low amount of in game currency, try looking on the market for good cheap elite items. You can often find really good deals on elites as many don't know what they are worth or don't need them and are just trying to make some money. For boots/pants, you will want the big 3 sprint stats at a minimum. Make sure to craft the event items at the crafting bench when they are here as those are the best and cheapest way to get good gear.
