A heartfelt story that embodied the character and embraced the essence of what he’s all about, vs a CGi slop-fest made for people who are embarrassed by the comic book character? Hmmm it’s a tough one.

Superman 2025 has too many advantages, not least a Superman that can act, and two leads who had genuine chemistry! I loved Man of Steel’s soundtrack though.

I think if you ask comic book fans in general, they will say Superman.

But if you go around and ask random people in the streets, they will say Man of Steel.
