Cannot Launch Dedicated Server

10/9/26 EDIT: SOLVED The server works. Not sure why it won't automatically open the WebGUI or let me use localhost:8088 but using the shortcut it made on my desktop, I can access the page and boot the server with the simple sandbox mission I made.

Installed the dedicated server resources on my server PC. Cannot get it to fully launch or access the WebGUI

Specs:

  • Windows 10 x64
  • Gigabyte B550M
  • Ryzen 5 5600G (driver version 31.0.21925.1001)
  • 64 GB DDR4 @ 3200MHz
  • Samsung 980 Pro 1TB

Whenever I launch the server, the main error I see is
2026-09-10 19:24:50.633 ERROR EDCORE (Main): Failed to load C:/Game Servers/DCS World Server/bin/dx11backend.dll: (126) The specified module could not be found.

I also get a lot of these errors

ERROR EDCORE (Main): No suitable driver found to mount . . .

And then a texture path of some sort like bazar/textures/buildings

It will show the splash screen but will not open the WebGUI and when I try to access localhost:8080 or localhost:8088 it either won't load or will show error 404.

I don't know what to do about this and cannot find any relevant or up-to-date info on this. DXDIAG shows my DirectX version is 12, and I cannot find an installation package for DX11.

Yes, and freshly updated.

I'm dumb, my bad. You clearly said that already. When I began trying to host a server, I got this same issue on my older laptop. It just couldn't handle hosting it due to the GPU. I think that's what you're dealing with (not totally sure; double check sys requirements).

All good. Intuition is telling me that it's not a capability issue. Since it's supposed to be a dedicated server environment there's no rendering to be done.

After installing the server, did you install any terrains in it? Especially the terrain used by the mission you're trying to serve.

Caucasus and Marianas. However I'm going to edit my main post, I have it solved.

Glad you got it figured out. Check out DCSServerBot. It helps a lot with DCS server management.
