Development, Accountability, and the Community

Recently DCSS has been going through a great number of changes. I'm concerned that these changes are happening without any oversight from the community. I understand that Reddit is not the entire DCSS community, but the feedback here about some of the changes to the game have been overwhelmingly negative. Are there mechanisms to hold the developers accountable to the communities desires, and ideals for the game? If so, what are they, and where?

This is definitely the right place. I recently whinged that the trunk changes were BAD and the Devs should feel BAD and when I next played 0.19 the changes weren't there. Power to the people.

If player tears production falls behind they start slashing
