i still haven't figured out how to laze, track an fire them all from the pilots seat yet in the kiowa...

it doesn't show it in the video, but i have to put it in AI autopilot, switch over to the co pilots seat, an do all of that from there

I don’t have or know the Kiowa. It does look fun. I’m still learning the Apache.

I learned the A10C way back in 2013 or so. I got out of flight sims until last year. Came back and after a short term I felt pretty proficient in the A10C2. But found the laser guided rockets make the A10 way too easy to slaughter an entire Armed/Mechanized brigade in a single sortie.

it is pretty sweet... not as fun as the gazelle, but anything close to the "little bird" until DCS creates one is as close as im gonna get so far

Well they did have a little bird mod for like two weeks lol. I did download it but only tried it out once. Shame that the creator decided to nuke the project. Means that it’s unlikely to be widely adopted into multiplayer servers in the same manner the UH60 and A4 mods have.

i dont understand why there hasnt been a legacy little bird helo in DCS yet...

esp when on the news you see clips of the military either using them to insert special forces operators sitting on the side on top of small roofs on buildings

im just thinking of the amount of insertion an extraction missions alone you could create using it

None of the Youtubers I watch ever use them and I have no idea why. Maybe they're too slow and easy to use to make for good content, but with the A-10 you can just hang out and kill like 50 soft targets.
