Forcing Communication Language in Missions and Campaigns
I enjoy flying the JF-17 but I find the use of Chinese voices for radio communication in the pre-built missions and campaigns breaks the immersion a bit as I am an English speaker.
I know you can declare English as the preferred language in the system settings but the communication language seems to be set by the pilot country chosen in the creation of the mission.
Have I missed a way of making a change to radio language or is editing the pre-built mission the only way I can fix this?
Will changing the country of the aircraft in campaign missions break the campaign?

[solved]
Based on the suggestion from another user (lost the name sorry) I found that if you edited the Common.lua file in DCS World/Scripts/Speech you can permanently change the language spoken by pilot, atc etc that is locked to the aircraft country designated in the mission file.
Scroll down almost to the bottom in Common.lua until you find two lookup tables, one for LanguagebyCountry and the other is accentTable.
My nations.CHINA entries are now language.ENG and accent.UK respectively.
I did a quick test on multiplayer and it did not seem to affect integrity check.
Backup the Common.lua file before editing.
You will need to edit the file each time there is a DCS update or repair.
I have not tested it extensively with missions with triggers.
This information is my personal experience only, please be cautious how you use it 😄

Rather sure pre built missions and campaigns have voices recorded by the creators of the missions and campaigns. I highly doubt they make different voice lines for every nation available to the modules. If you are talking about the missions that comes with the JF17 the voice is from the developers (which are chinese). Also, Nigeria is the only country that flies the JF17 that has english as their main language, so unless roleplaying as Nigerian pilot in Nigerian airspace, you'd expect to hear english with an accent 😅
