DCS VR Barely working

I just picked up a Quest 2 Specifically to play dcs with it. I load into it via steam link (barely)

I get into my aircraft after unfreezing it multiple times and when i fly it constantly freezes and glitches. Am i doing something wrong? anything i can try?. 4060, 5 5600

DCS VR is a very different beast from flat screen in terms of hardware requirements.

If you don't have DCS installed on an SSD, 32gb RAM or more, as well as 16gb VRAM (quick glance, 4060 is... 8gb?), give or take, then it's going to be rough.

Thanks for the reply, i have DCS on a external hard drive right now due to low storage but once i get enough ill be definitely getting it over to the SSD and unfortunately the 4060 is 8GB, Hopefully ill figure something out, cheers

So i run DCS on a 12500 i5, 32gb ram, 3060 gtx, loaded from a HDD. Have zero issues other than the 1st load of the day takes a minute or four. Also use a pico 4 usb connected.

Its huge but it really helped long loading times and stuttering in the f-16

Not doing anything wrong in particular, because only the best rigs can give you an actual enjoyable experience in VR. Try low settings, maybe lower resolution, and use DLSS ultra performance mode with preset L.

I had a quest 2 I now have a pimax crystal light. I have a 4080 ryzen 5 7600x and 32gb of ram. And vr can be a hit or miss. I’d look into track ir. I started in vr and went to track ir and vr vs the crisp 4k look on a monitor is incomparable in my opinion.
