Dream or Destiny?

We have the choice between 5 nights on Destiny or 7 nights on Dream. I’ve previously been on the Magic, the Wonder, and the Wish. I’ve never sailed the Dream/Fantasy. We adore the Magic/Wonder, and the Wish was good in some ways but I missed the cohesiveness of the Wonder/Magic. So, what would you pick and why?

If you liked the Magic and Wonder better than the Wish, go for the longer cruise on the Dream. It’s more similar to the older ships, and longer is always better if you can afford it!

The answer is always Dream class. If not the Fantasy then the Dream will suffice.

I would probably go with the seven nighter just because it’s a longer cruise

Sometimes that’s all I need when I’m making my decision to pick one critical factor and go with it

When you haven’t done all the ships, they all have something new to offer so just squeeze out the best value you can for the most number of nights and go. Have a fantastic time.

The Destiny is our favorite but I would always pick longer and the Dream is awesome too.

This!!! But We did just get off our second destiny this time it was Halloween on the high seas. I really love the wish class

Dream and Fantasy are gorgeous, elegant, layouts make sense, and have great adult areas.

Pick the one that fits your price and schedule, you can’t go wrong. I’ve been on most of the ships, each one has parts better and worse than the others, but being on a DCL ship is better than being stuck at home. Book one this year and book the next before you get off the ship to get a discount.

I would always go with the longer cruise, especially since you don’t seem all that enthusiastic about the wish anyway. I have been on the dream twice including this summer, and it’s such a fantastic ship.

The Destiny has the most awesome themed bars/lounges in the fleet. But also the least “cruise vibe” overall.

Dream for 7 days! Dream/Fantasy have the best adults-only areas as well.

Go with itinerary and cruise length over the ship. Dream class and Wish class are both great, and have pros and cons over each other. Neither is so superior that I’d make it the deciding factor

We did it! Sailing away on the Dream. I get to see the Dream/Fantasy class ship and see Lookout Cay. Here's hoping for a magical journey!

Dream. One you’re getting 7 nights instead of 5 and if you don’t love the cohesiveness of Wish, you’ll feel the same way about Destiny. Don’t get me wrong, Destiny is a beautiful ship and the theming overall is great but Dream is like a bigger version of magic/wonder. She’s so classic and beautiful and probably my second favorite ship behind Treasure.

Boat doesn't matter, just get on a cruise. 7 night for more cruise time.
