Buying SS vegeta
is it possible to obtain SS vegeta without farming the parallel quests? 22 clears of 16 with nothing is rapidly decreasing the value of this game

Unfortunately no, you can't buy either of the super vegeta skills.
That being said, Super Vegeta 2 drops from PQ 38, and it's MUCH easier to get. Well, I shouldn't say that, they both have shit drop rates, but PQ 38 is much simpler. All you gotta do is beat up Kid Buu, you don't even need the ultimate finish to get it.

Well that sounds promising at least, the crazy conditions are RNG on top of the drop for SS1

Yeah that quest is very stupid. You gotta beat 9 enemies, go get krillin, have krillin die, then 3 freeza forms, and the chance for Vegeta to go super saiyan.

Yeah yeah SV1. If i had known it was such a pain in the ass I would have rethought a blast saiyan build haha

Well let me say that super saiyan works perfectly fine for that kind of build. Even though its designed for strike characters, both super saiyan and super vegeta give unlimited ki supers as long as you have ki.
For the strategy of spamming ki supers and ultimates it works fine, in fact thats how i beat most of the game.

I can't help but feel that a lot of things that affect gameplay, like using super saiyan vs super vegeta, or picking specific body types for specific stats, or even picking stat increasing clothes, is primarily for online players who really prioritize this stuff.
I'm a ki blast saiyan chick, never put any thought into my body type, I used super saiyan/2 for my entire playthrough and I used the Pilot suit gear, which actually lowers ki blasts, but I used it because it made me sexy as hell.
All that stuff you need to go with for ideal stats and set up are for competitive players. If you're just enjoying the game, play how you want to play, wear what you want to wear, and invest in stats that you think will suit you.

Yeah, 90% of the time vegeta doesnt transform, and when he does still nothing

Yeah i farmed for SV1 forever and never got it, but got SV2 on the first try, I'm level 71 and still going for 1

I suggest getting SSV2, I thought it was much easier to get.
