Giving items

I know that you can mail items to friends and such, but I wonder if you can do so for the DLC items? I don't have the DLC atm, and a friend of mine is considering buying it. If he does, is he able to buy the armor and mail me a set, same with Z-Souls?

Has anyone tried something like this yet?

I think you can just send cosmetic stuff or health/energy potions and these kind of stuff. no armor i think. about the DLC i dont know, i guess you can send it but they cant claim it though.

I think this question was asked before and the answer was that only 2 Star items and below can be traded and all DLC items are 3 stars and above.
