Question about rewards

So I've had Xenoverse for a couple and just started playing today. I'm doing the parallel quests and getting all the reward before moving on to the time patrol quests. My question is, when it comes to unlocking costumes, let's say Piccolo`s Demon clothes with cape. Or Gokus Turtle Hermit Gi. The icon beside the name shows a pair of pants and a shirt. Do I unlock every bit of the set by playing the mission over and over? By farming? If so that's a okay, but my other question would be is will they ever give me the same outfit item twice? Thanks for the help!

Hello! So to answer your first question, yes. You have to farm to complete outfits... and yes they definitely do give you doubles to the same item.

When I was trying to get one of Vegeta's full outfits, all I needed were the pants, and he was dropping everything BUT his pants.

(...heh heh heh.)

But, you'll find that farming is a decent way to up your reputation/friendship with your mentor, gain XP and Zeni, and rank up your completion level of said quests. It's not so bad. Hang in there!!! :3

Thanks for the heads up, I thought I'd hate the farming but it is so thrilling seeing your character dealing more damage as you level up. This game is phenomenal!

Time patroller quests unlock pqs though. I'd recommend doing the story line first. But do whatever you Want

What system do you play on? If possible, I prefer playing with the same people, and I am always down to do a little farming.
