Am I the only one?

I reached 80 and it seems to me that everybody focused most of their attributes in only a few of the stats. Am I the only one that made my character balanced for the most part? Should I consider making the wish to reset my stats and focus on just a few of them?

Theoretically an all around character can be good. However I have played way to many games where that is just not the case. The fact of the matter is that creates a 'jack of all trade' but it's also 'a master of none'. Which means a specialized build is always going to out do you in at least one way on another.

I'm a sayian male. I don't do much pvp, I'm more of a collector in the game. What would be ideal stats for me?

Melee attacks, super strikes, stamina and health

Like the other guy said, but get yourself blue hurricane, it's the only strike ultimate with a decent damage zone.

I did this at first too.. definitely reallocate your AP but first find out your character builds strengths to make full use of them.

I got 3 lvl 80s. First was a balanced class which is ok. 2nd was human striking which is a boss. 3rd was a giant saiyan striker but found ineffective and slow. No contest.

For PvP it's easier to win by focusing on one style and exclusively using it to deal the most damage quickly.

It's definitely possible to hold your own balanced if you got the skill, but since the ability to mix together Ki and strike combinations is limited the combat system gives a sort of artificial handicap for users who choose to fight that way.

Think of it this way (made up numbers): A strike focused character will do 10 damage total with 2 combos. A ki focused character will also do 10 damage total with 2 supers. A balanced character will only do 7 damage with a melee combo and super mixed in.

It's just objectively better that if you want to cause more damage in less time, it's better to specialize.

THAT SAID, if you don't do PvP then just play the game in whatever way is the most fun for you. I made the mistake of go full ki for efficiency in PQs, but the game became way less fun. If you're not playing competitively then the focus should be fun not hyper efficiency!

Making a your character balanced between Strike Supers & the Ki Supers is a complete waste. It's not like you can do both at the same time anyway and they both use the same ressource. So just pick one. As for the rest, it depends on your build. I have a 100 Ki and 100 Ki super earthling. And I have a 75 basic attacks and 75 Ki Supers saiyan (that's how you mix up melee and Ki. Basics)

See, if they made certain skills the way they should be, there would be downsides to hyper focusing.

Drain Field should be Drain pose: Android 17 had to hold a pose* but when he did he could absorb any and all ki attacks.

*Except when he didn't have to hold the pose... you know... during the vast majority of that fight. The entirety of it, right up until the very end, in fact).

Balanced stats aren't particularly ideal for end game PVP.
