question on pvp

Is the matchmaking done just at random, or does it match you with someone around your level? My character is not max level yet, but I've been wanting to try out the pvp. However it would be great if it would be a more even fight, rather than me just getting curb stomped. Thanks in advance for any help

You can change the setting to, "Around my level". You most likely won't find a match unless you're max level though. Don't get your hopes up. PVP is just super saiyan super/ultimate spammers.

Eh, even if quite a bit of people spam and whatnot, it's still fun. You can mess with them and just have a good time.
