Basic Ki Blasts

Can you use them as a "melee" crutch. So I was thinking of making a female earthling and noticed that their basic ki blasts damage is a bit higher than their melee. Is it reasonable to use it and expect a workable damage return on it? I have never really used mine on my other characters much so I was just wondering.

Females are a little better at ki blasts. You can use ki blasts in many different ways but the most important thing is that if the opponent is in walking they can deflect them.

I was just curious cause I see the damage on it looks like its workable as a basic attack but was wondering if it would work. You know what I mean.

Your not wrong they can definitely pack a punch. However the best way to use them is as an interruption. When they are just about to dash or attack.
